Overview

Deylik (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is a daily habit tracking app for iOS. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

  • Email address— collected when you sign in with Apple, Google, or an email magic link. Used solely for authentication. If you use Apple's Hide My Email, we only receive the private relay address Apple generates for you.
  • Name and profile picture — if you sign in with Google, we receive the name and profile picture associated with your Google account. If you sign in with Apple, we receive the name you choose to share. Used only to display your profile within the app.
  • Habits and logs — the habits you create and your daily progress entries. Stored securely in your account.
  • App preferences — theme and display settings, stored locally on your device.

We do not collect device identifiers, location data, contacts, or any information unrelated to habit tracking.

How We Use Your Data

  • To authenticate you and sync your habits across devices.
  • To display your progress, streaks, and completion history within the app.
  • To restore your data if you reinstall the app or switch devices.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Data Storage

Your data is stored on Supabase, a secure cloud database platform. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Supabase infrastructure is hosted on AWS and complies with SOC 2 Type II standards.

Authentication

Sign-in is handled via Supabase Auth. When you choose Sign in with Apple or Google sign-in, authentication is managed by Apple or Google respectively. We only receive your email address and the name (and, for Google, profile picture) associated with your account — we never receive your Apple ID or Google password, or any other account data.

Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained as long as you have an active account. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time directly in the app: go to Profile → Delete Account. You can also request deletion by contacting us at deylikapp@gmail.com. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.

Children’s Privacy

Deylik is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
